Goal: Inform, inspire and educate individuals on the YBMC training center. Provide relevant and timely information so potential candidates and or programs can take part in training offerings. To create a synergistic learning environment that is conducive to experience building and valuable information sharing.
It is our goal to facilitate quality learning opportunities for your students and staff, which enable measurable short and long term program success!
YouthBuild McLean County has a long history in assisting young people in their transformation in the Bloomington-Normal area. Our program continues to expand with regards to the number of students served, programs or tracts offered, service learning projects, staff development and student leadership opportunities. YouthBuild McLean County is excited to extend and broaden leadership growth opportunities for YouthBuild staff, students and other organizations outside of the Bloomington-Normal community. We believe in lifelong learning and staff growth equates to student achievement. It is our wish that many of the trainings we offer will assist in achieving your program goals, staff leadership and student transformation. Our 75,000 ft2 facility offers individuals to large groups the opportunity to experience a unique and interactive learning environment.
Through a variety of teaching methods, content and practicum our instructors will transform trainings to interactive learnings, where we share rigorous content in an impactful and fun manner. Master trainers, coaches and instructors bring trainings to life in our facility. We utilize a variety of curricula and multiple modality approach to skill development in an attempt to reach all learners. Competency or performance assessments are part of the equation in content mastery. Our staff have a history of coaching and facilitating training with YouthBuild USA and we are partnered with the DOL Technical Assistance Collaborative. We are also proud to be a part of the teaching site initiative.
